DraftADay is an AI co-pilot for LinkedIn, currently in private beta. This policy covers the marketing site (www.draftaday.com) and the app, the Studio (studio.draftaday.com). It is written to be read. If anything is unclear, email hi@draftaday.com and a human will answer.
The short version
- You decide what goes in. We store your drafts, calendar, and anything you choose to capture, and nothing is published without you.
- Drafting uses Anthropic's Claude API. Your content is not used to train AI models.
- Your workspace is isolated from every other tester's.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not run ad trackers.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, any time.
Account data
To run your beta account we store your name, your workspace details, and the access credentials we issue you: the private gate login and your personal Studio access token. If you join the waitlist on the marketing site, we store the email address you give us and use it only to talk to you about DraftADay.
When we onboard you, we set up your workspace from your public LinkedIn profile and a sample of your recent public posts, so drafts sound like you from day one. You can see and edit everything this produces in Settings.
Content you create
Your drafts, published posts, calendar, voice profile, experience notes, and any images, video, or PDFs you generate or upload all live in your workspace. They are yours. We store and process them only to run the Studio for you.
LinkedIn data you connect or capture
- Publishing connection: when you connect LinkedIn, LinkedIn issues a token that lets the Studio publish as you and read your basic profile (name, email, photo). We store that token on our server, scoped to your workspace, and use it only to carry out the publishes you trigger. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.
- Captures: the browser extension can save posts, comments, profiles, and engagement numbers into your workspace. It captures only when you trigger it, and only from pages open in your own logged-in browser. The Studio never signs in to LinkedIn as you.
- Metrics: for posts you publish, we keep engagement snapshots (reactions, comments, reposts, and impressions when you supply them, for example by uploading LinkedIn's analytics export). These power your results view and inform your future drafts.
AI processing
When you generate a draft, we send the relevant content to Anthropic's Claude API: your topic or seed, your voice profile, and context from posts you have captured. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, that content is not used to train their models. If you render images or video, the prompts go to fal.ai, the service that generates the media.
We keep usage records (model, tokens, cost per request) to run the beta's fair-use caps. If you try the free post grader on the marketing site, the text you paste is scored the same way and is not saved to any account or profile.
Cookies and local storage
The Studio keeps your access token and your preferences (default schedule time, theme, and similar) in your browser's localStorage. Clearing browser storage signs you out and resets those defaults. We use no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics trackers on either site. Our servers keep standard request logs (including IP addresses), and the free public tools use short IP-based rate limits to stay free. We do not use any of this to build profiles.
Who can see your data
Your workspace is isolated: other beta testers cannot see your drafts, captures, contacts, or metrics. The operator can access the systems that store your data in order to run, debug, and support the beta, and treats that access as support-only. Beyond that, data goes only to the services named above: Anthropic for drafting, fal.ai for media, LinkedIn when you publish, and Cloudflare, which hosts the public marketing pages. We never sell your data.
Retention and deletion
We keep your workspace data while you are in the beta. Ask and we will delete it, usually within days. Waitlist emails stay until launch or until you ask to be removed.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you get EU-style rights over your data:
- Ask what we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct anything that is wrong. Most of it you can edit yourself in the Studio.
- Have your captures, your workspace, or your whole account deleted.
- Disconnect LinkedIn at any time in Settings, which ends our ability to publish for you.
Email hi@draftaday.com. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page, change the date at the top, and tell beta testers directly about anything meaningful.
